NetEnt Partners Up with Ozzy Osbourne to Launch New Online Slot

NetEnt has partnered with the Prince of Darkness to release a brand new online slot.

Earlier this week, popular online slot provider NetEnt announced a collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne to create a new licensed slot based on him.

The new game follows from NetEnt’s collection of licensed rock star games including their Guns n’ Roses, Motorhead and Jimi Hendrix slots which have all proven to be hugely successful.

Reports suggest the deal was agreed between NetEnt and Barry Drinkwater, Osbourne’s merchandising and brand management partner and, according to NetEnt’s announcement, the game will feature imagery and vocals from the Osbourne.

The star served as the lead singer to heavy metal band Black Sabbath during the 1970s before marrying wife Sharon. More recently, Ozzy and his family, including children Kelly and Jack, starred in their own reality show titled The Osbournes.

What They Say

Bryan Upton, NetEnt’s Director of Game Products, said in a statement: “Rock stars don’t come much bigger, better known, or charismatic than Ozzy Osbourne.

“Thanks to his larger-than-life personality and outstanding contribution to music, Ozzy has developed a loyal and passionate following over the past 50 years – we can’t wait to bring this to the reels for the players to enjoy.”

Barry Drinkwater, Chairman of Global Merchandising Services, added: “NetEnt are the market leaders in their field and we’re incredibly excited to add another of our artists to the exciting NetEnt Rocks family of games.”

Sadly, NetEnt has remained tight-lipped about any more details of the slot and no potential release date has been mentioned. However, we expect more details to follow in the coming months.
