1X2 Network Lands MegaWays License Agreement With Big Time Gaming
Game provider 1X2 Network has announced a partnership with Big Time Gaming.
Under the agreement, 1X2 Network, which is known for slots such as I Am The Law and Neon Fruit, will acquire a license for Big Time Gaming’s MegaWays game engine.
This allows 1X2 Network and its subsidiaries, including 1X2 Gaming and Iron Dog Studios, will be able to make MegaWays slots, a feature which sees the number of paylines and symbols change with each spin.
The MegaWays game engine has been responsible for several of the most popular slot games including Bonanza MegaWays, Extra Chilli MegaWays, Vikings Unleashed MegaWays, Diamond Mine MegaWays and so many others.
Iron Dog Studios has already begun working on its first MegaWays slot which, according to 1X2 Network’s press release, will be based on a pirate theme and will be released later this year.
What They Say
Kevin Reid, the Chief Commercial Officer of 1X2 Network, said in a statement: “MegaWays has really taken the online slot market by storm and we are really excited about combining the innovative mechanic with our own unique approach to slot development.
“Iron Dog Studio has already built a formidable reputation for designing and developing slots that deliver anticipation and thrills and now they will also be able to deliver more ways to win than ever before – a highly successful combination, for sure.”
Nik Robinson, the CEO of Big Time Gaming, added: “MegaWays is a break-through system and it’s great to see so many suppliers wanting to license the brand. We are really looking forward to seeing how Iron Dog uses MegaWays.
“They have an incredible team and I know they will add a new dimension to the format, which will excite slots fans around the world.”
1X2 Network isn’t the only game operator to possess a license for the MegaWays game engine. So far, other game providers that operate the engine include Strom Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, Merkur and so many others.
Iron Dog Studios haven’t yet announced the title of their upcoming MegaWays nor any features or gameplay mechanics. Make sure to check back to find out more about the slot in the future.
